We are very happy to have Drukmo Gyal from Tibet and Adrian DiMatteo from New York coming to Salem Massachusetts on March 12th for all of us to experience the beautiful Mantra Meditation and spiritual sound of music.
Drukmo Gyal is from Northeastern part of Tibet, she is from a Tibetan Yogi family where mantra, yoga and meditation are introduced from family lineage, plus the support from Tibetan yogi community, Drukmo Gyal has practiced mantras with ancient melodies, she started singing publicly in 2008, she achieved top 40 in one of the Chinese National Singing Contest in 2010, but due to her university study, she drew back from possible singing career. She came to Europe in 2014, published her first album “Purification Voice Of Tibet” in Spain (2015), She started touring in European countries, Russia, Malaysia, China with local musicians, not only in concert halls, but also in hospitals, handicapped houses, old people’s house. Second album “Tibetan Mantra Healing” is released in April 2016, it is an ancient healing system that belongs to Traditional Tibetan Medicine. She has studied Traditional Tibetan Medicine with Dr Nida Chenagtsang and teaches the Tibetan art of mantra healing all over the world.
Adrian DiMatteo is a guitarist, singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist from New York. He received formal training in Jazz performance, music theory and history from the Eastman School of Music under Bob Sneider. Now he studies sacred songs/mantras from around the world and the science of sound healing. He recently developed Guitar Handbook, a chord learning app for aspiring guitarists of all levels. He also teaches music and practices music therapy.
